Who we are
EasyRoad is operated by [PLACEHOLDER — legal entity name to be supplied by the owner], at [PLACEHOLDER — registered postal address]. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@tryeasyroad.com. For general enquiries and support, email support@tryeasyroad.com.
Data we collect
- Account data. Your email address and authentication details, handled by our authentication and database provider (Supabase).
- Trip content. Trips, dates, saved places, day plans, travel preferences (likes and dislikes), checklists and any notes or documents you add to the Trip Hub.
- Uploaded documents. Files you choose to add to your Trip Hub, such as booking confirmations. Text may be extracted from them to fill in trip details.
- Usage analytics. First-party analytics about how the app is used, to find bugs and improve the product.
- Local browser storage. Session and preference data stored on your own device so the app keeps working between visits.
EasyRoad does not take payments, and contains no advertising SDKs or ad tracking.
Services that process data for us
- Supabase — authentication, database and file storage for your account and trip content.
- AI gateway providers — used for the in-app assistant and for extracting details from documents you upload. Only the content needed for the request is sent.
- Google Maps and Places — map display, place search and place details for your stops.
- Weather provider — forecast context for your trip days, based on the locations in your plan.
Why we process it
To create and secure your account, to build and display your trips, to answer your requests in the assistant, to show maps, places and weather for your plan, and to keep the beta stable and improving.
Retention
Your account and trip data are kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, your account data and trip content are removed from the live systems; routine backups age out on their normal schedule.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. You can delete your account yourself at any time — see the Delete Account page. For other privacy requests, email privacy@tryeasyroad.com.
Changes
EasyRoad is in active beta, so this policy may change as features change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
